The Military Valour Decorations are decorations within the Canadian system of honours, for military valour gifted by the Canadian monarch. Created in 1993, the medal is presented to both living and deceased members of the Canadian Forces deemed to have carried out “an act of valour or devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy” The replicas are mounted in a distinctive frame measuring 12" x 16" (30 cm x 40 cm) and is designed to highlight one side of the decoration. As a personal touch your name is featured in an inscription which states that the decoration is a replica of the one presented to you by the Governor General of Canada.
